Mousetrapper Nordic history
Today, computers have become our most common tool and aid in the office environment. Swedish inventor Rolf Strömberg predicted this development as early as 1994 when he invented the first Mousetrapper product.
The idea was to create a pointing device that would enable users to work faster and more freely with computers. The design was successively refined the design in close collaboration with physiotherapists who understand the advantages in assisting users to work more ergonomically.
The first product, Mousetrapper Classic, was introduced in 1994 and was a revolution on the market for pointing devices.
Before this innovation, no one had integrated the operations performed with a mouse with the keyboard.
Such integration created the basis for the success of the Mousetrapper series.
Ever since, the importance of an ergonomically sound office environment has grown in step with the greatly increased use of computers that has occurred during the last years. Today, more than half of the employed workforce uses a computer.
During the 21st century Mousetrapper Electronic and Mousetrapper Office have been introduced as the successors of Mousetrapper Classic.

Ergonomic Comfort Pack launched together with Microsoft in 2007.
The pad featured on these products can be moved around in two dimensions and is a carefully designed fabric and silicone pad that follows the movements of the user. The pad’s fabric and grip friendly design has been continuously developed since the launch of the products.
The office environment of the future will require that the user is provided with the possibilities of varied work and varied working postures. It is the firm ambition of the Mousetrapper product line to offer the user ever better tools for making such an office environment a reality.
